Day 1:   Evil Guinea Pigs

Share an image that has something to do with guinea pigs. And how EVIL those deceptively cute balls of fluffy terror truly are. Upload your photo to flickr and tag it dailycreate and tdc1004.

While these too fluff balls don’t look too inherently evil on their own, their red eyes coupled with those rolls of skin indicate that they have been chowing down on more than just guinea pig kibble. Because we once owned a guinea pig and enjoyed him as a family (before a neighborhood dog enjoyed him for dinner), it’s hard for me to see these guys as evil. They do have a nasty bite, though!

I wasn’t fond of this Daily Create assignment because I was forced to create a Flickr account. I should have used a pseudonym because in order to create a Flickr account, I had to create a Yahoo account (perhaps Flickr was purchased by Yahoo). I don’t like the vulnerability of all these digital services having my information. I edited my profiles to make as many things private as possible.

This assignment was good, though, because it forced me to look for images which fall under Creative Commons. I was fearful about posting something to a public web page without permissions, so I provided attributes even though the MorgueFile web site said doing so is not required.
